I have had many of the Organic Gypsy’s culinary triumphs, and I can tell you that these reviews are all right on the money. Not only is Bridgett an amazing chef, she really cares about what she’s doing and takes more pride in her food than any restaurateur I’ve ever met. Her ingredients are of unbelievable quality, and her food tastes incredible, especially given the fact that it’s so healthy and wholesome. I lived in San Francisco for a couple years, in the heart of the food truck scene, and the Organic Gypsy is on par or better than most of what I’ve ever had from any restaurant out there, let alone a truck. It’s so awesome to have a food truck culture finally starting to emerge in Michigan! Bridgett really understands the wealth and variety of food agriculture here in Michigan, and her menu items are always super creative while maintaining a comfort food kind of taste. Try any of her melts or open faced sandwiches to see what I’m talking about. Her offering of gluten-free and vegan options is mind-blowing too, and it’s something that many restaurants and food trucks aren’t doing yet. I’m definitely hiring the Organic Gypsy for any private parties I have in the future…
YUM! I hired The Organic Gypsy to cater snacks during the cocktail hour at my wedding. Everything was perfect - delicious food, friendly staff and adorable display (the photos prove it!). I've visited the truck a few times, and have never been disappointed. The thing I appreciate about Bridgett and her staff is the professionalism (we planned at length where the truck would be at the wedding, timeline for arrival serving, etc.) and great attitude they bring every day. I'm sure there were hiccups that day, but I never knew it! I would go back and hire the Gypsy over & over again!
Bridgett and the Organic Gypsy team catered our wedding on October 17, 2015. Both Bridgett and her staff were fabulous!! They were helpful and easy to work with - we also really appreciated the level of professionalism they brought with them that evening. Our guests enjoyed the unique experience of walking up to the food truck for dinner! Bridgett and her team provided stationary appetizers during the cocktail hour and two entree options served out of the food truck for dinner. The dinner lines went very smoothly - no issues at all! AND - last, but certainly not least, we all really enjoyed the food! Thanks again for a great evening, Bridgett!
The Organic Gypsy's food truck was in Baroda this past weekend at the first annual Party on the Pavers. My mom and I grabbed some spring rolls right when we got there, and luckily we did, because that item sold out. DELISH. Fresh, cool treat on a muggy day, and scrumptious dipping sauce. Nutty, spicy. YUM. We shared the sliders, too, with sides of potato and kale. Flavorful, well seasoned new potatoes were on the plate with kale that had a chip-like feel, but according to Bridgett, who was a one girl show in the food truck, it had been sauteed in olive oil, then quickly steamed. I enjoyed talking to her about her food nearly as much as I enjoyed the food. I was able to take away a growler filled with strawberry kombucha. My mom and I huddled under the awning in a brief downpour, sharing a plate. First encountered Organic Gypsy a year ago in Three Oaks. Come back soon, Organic Gypsy!!!
I die for The Organic Gypsy's Granola and even sent my whole family and boyfriend's family a bag. It's delicious! Recently, I had her Caramel Popcorn and insanely good! I love that the ingredients are fresh, local, and well thought out. Bridgett is bubbly and very excited about what she has created. And she should be. In a world of potato chips and french fries she is doing her part to bring good, healthy food to people. I would give her 10 stars if I could!
